Snowman-closeup
Season's Greetings from Finland!

Click "read more" to see a couple of topical pictures rendered with Blender 3D cycles.

 

 

There was a Christmas competition at Blender Cookie to model a snowman. I made the first image with the Northern Lights to take part to the competition, and did a small variation to relocate snowman to vicinity of Tampere, hence the Näsinneula in the background.

The images have been modeled with Blender 3D and rendered with internal cycles render engine. This was a nice learning experience to get into how cycles works.
