Colosseum
Rome must be the one city which you can, by any standard, call historic. The city is combination of old and new, with all the ancient ruins just in the middle of the city, easily accessible by walking around. We visited Rome on a short trip during Summer of 2006, enjoyed the history, the views, and of course, the good food! Especially we would like to recommend a family trattoria called Der Pallaro, located at Largo del Pallaro, 15, near Campo de Fiori.

Here are some snapshots from the trip. If you have already been to Rome, you may wonder whats funny with the first figure of the Colosseum. It is a combination of multiple pictures, as the building is so huge that it would be hard to fit it into one picture without wide lens or combining pictures.
